ABOUT
My philosophy is that it’s important to work on yourself both on the inside and out. I love life, time with friends and family, the outdoors, travelling, good food and wine! I like yoga because it makes you stronger, helps the body become more flexible and toned but it also helps the mind, making you more resilient, calm and peaceful. I practice daily for wellness and to bring balance to my life. I can teach you in my classes through the practice how to start creating balance in your life too.
My Intro To Yoga
I've always known about Yoga, mainly as a creative way to stretch after grueling gym workouts... But it was August 2018 that I attended a fitness retreat in Thailand where Yoga was on the schedule in the evenings. It was there that I fell in love with Yoga and I returned home with the curiosity to know more!
My Training
In 2020, I embarked on a transformative journey completing my 200-hour Yoga teacher training. Little did I know that this would be the foundation for something even more profound. Fast forward to 2024, after 3 solid years of personal practice, teaching a handful of students and a few corporate groups, I’ve now completed my 300-hour Yoga teacher training. These experiences have woven a rich tapestry of wisdom, compassion, and growth into the fabric of my practice and I would like to share it with you.
My Teaching Style
I teach Vinyasa style yoga and in my classes we will work on:
-
Flexibility and strength
-
Stress control and release
-
Mindful movement and breathing
-
Meditation
I insist on “Yogi’s Choice” which means there are options/levels for the poses, so you can choose how much to challenge yourself or choose to use the time to focus on your breathing; remember its your body and your practice!
I’m here to support and inspire you on your Yoga journey; expect to move, stretch, sweat and breathe!
I look forward to meeting you on the mat!
